The Slip Knot

To begin every project, you must get the wool on the crochet hook. To do so, you need to create a knot.

Here's a simple slip knot:

Make a loop.


Create a second loop under the first. You will be pulling the top of the second through the first.



Put the crochet hook through the loop.



And pull.
